The food was very delicious and the service was great!! I can recommend!
I’m late getting to this review - we were there mid March this year - but was just looking back through photos of our trip, saw the ones from this restaurant, and had to add my thoughts. My wife and I had searched and circled this place as one we wanted to try, and we weren’t disappointed. We eat dinner earlier than Porto locals apparently, so we were the first customers of the night, but the kitchen was already in full prep mode and had the specials on the board ready to make. I forget the names of the dishes we had but it’s easy to look at the photos and see that one was salmon and potatoes (my wife’s), and the other (mine) was duck and a seasoned pumpkin smash. There was also soup and bread to start, and some nice cold Super Bock beers for each of us. The food was absolutely delicious, and although we never had one bad meal in Porto, this was one of the very best. Highly recommended, and worth the not too expensive price.
We enjoyed a delicious meal with some classic Portuguese dishes at reasonable prices. Everybody who served us was lovely, very attentive and fast. The porto tonic was a great drink to go with our octopus salad, padron peppers and braga style cod.
Felt very authentic and local, which was exactly what we were looking for. The prices were good, the menu was good, staff was fine. Luckily they switched off the TV for jazz music instead, which made the experience more soothing and relaxed. The cheese board and some port wine is a must. Recommend!
The white port was outstanding at 3 euro a glass. Our meals were tasty. My wife's glass of wine was generous; so was my port.
We ate at Novo Oporto on our last night in Porto. It was a very delicious meal. The service was great. We had the salmon and the pork loin and a lovely bottle of wine. We finished the meal with the local cheese appetizer with bread. I would highly recommend to this restaurant.
